WHO MAY BUY
Anyone who is: adult, legally responsible, financially solvent and accept ave's terms and conditions.
You wish to buy at an ave auction?
You may bid in person, by telephone, through an agent (who has given ave a copy of his warrant before the sale), through an absentee bid or via internet usuing the Moniteur Live web interface www.moniteurlive.com.
To bid during the sale simply make a clear sign and visible sign to the auctioneer using your paddle. Professionals, private, owners and agents.
Registration is mandatory:
- Fill in and sign the registration from.
- Copy of two current ID's (passport, Identity Card, Driving licence, KBIS).
- VAT registration number (only applicable to professionals).
- Deposit in the form of a signed blank cheque made out to "AVE" or a cash deposit the amount of which may vary from sale to sale but will never be inferior to 500 euros.
Absentee bidding:
If you are unable to attend a sale in person you can bid by telephone, internet or by leaving a commission bid.
Download an absentee bid form which will tell you what documents and information you will need to send to ave so that your bid may be taken into consideration. All 1st time absentee bids must be submitted at least 48 hours before the sale.
You have purchased one or more lots:
A commission and its relevant taxes are added to the hammer price. Buyer's fees vary between 8% and 21% excluding VAT (9.60% and 25.20% including VAT) of the hammer price. Lots must be paid for in full on the fall of the hammer.
Lots will only be released to the buyer upon reception of the full payment inclusive of all relevant commissions and taxes.
Accepted payment:
All major credit cards. Bank transfer (all possible transfer fees must be paid by the buyer). French certified bank check. Cash.
Storage fees:
As each sale ground is different ave advises its buyers to consult the "sale information" page before each sale to avoid storage fees.
Removal of lots:
ave does not provide any logistic assistance, buyers are strongly recommended to make all handling, lifting, transport and collection arrangements before the sale.
